Let's Be Friends!

You support them.

A space for parents, caregivers, educators and professionals supporting those who think, learn, and experience the world differently without judgement, jargon or pretending it's easy.

I SUPPORT YOU.

build your support system

And I support parents, educators and professionals in that messy, in-between space...when you know a child learns and experiences the world differently, but you’re still trying to understand what that means for them, for the systems around them, and for the role you play in their story.

I'm Kate.

Hi there,

Yes! Explore NOW

Rooted in both lived and learned experience, linking the worlds of parenthood, education, and clinical insight; let's work together to support those supporting others. We'll build the bridge between knowing and doing,
between the diagnosis and daily life.

Together, we'll build the bridge between knowing and doing; a living, breathing support system for the supporters.

Whatever Road you are traveling, the walk gets easier when we walk it together.

Let's Be Honest

This is where parents, educators, and professionals learn together, connect across disciplines, and build real, sustainable support for those who learn and experience the world differently.

Absolutely amazing presentation! Kate’s openness and honesty, especially regarding the challenges facing parents and educators, were refreshing and crucial for our work. The information on how the autistic brain processes input was a game-changer for me. I can’t thank her enough for this insightful session!

Kate just gets it. I never have to over-explain or question if I’m being truly understood. Kate hears the unspoken parts, the things I can’t quite put into words, because she’s lived it too. That makes all the difference.”

Kate is truly an inspiration in the world of special education. Her ability to share her personal journey while imparting valuable knowledge creates a unique connection with her audience. I’ll carry the insights on the autistic brain with me throughout my career. This was an eye-opening experience!

“Kate’s insights on the autistic brain are unforgettable. Truly eye-opening.”

Kate was my son’s IEP case manager from 6th through 8th grade, and I cannot overstate the impact she had on our lives or the course of his educational experience. When my autistic son’s occupational therapy services were being reduced, Kate became his voice at a time when he could not fully advocate for himself. She stood up for his needs with compassion, determination, and an unwavering belief that he deserved the appropriate supports to succeed.

From the very first day, Kate made it clear that my son was more than a name on a list or a case to manage—he was a human being who mattered. She treated him with dignity, patience, and genuine care, advocating for him as if he were her own child. As a parent, that level of advocacy is rare and life-changing.

Kate didn’t just help us navigate the system; she helped us feel seen, heard, and supported during some of our most difficult moments. If Kate were still working in our district, I would request her as my son’s advocate without hesitation. To this day, I recommend Kate to every parent I meet who is fighting to get their child the services they need and deserve. Families like ours need advocates like Kate.
